ROCK ~ ROCK ~ ROCK ~ ROCK ~ ROCK

Badfinger / Straight Up
Apple Records SW-3387 (1971)(US) This is an original issue Record. Badfinger sounds best when there's as much craft in the
production as there is in the writing. Here, there's absolutely no filler and everybody is in top form. Pete Ham's "Baby Blue"
is textbook power-pop and with its Harrison-esque slide guitars, "Day After Day" is so gorgeous it practically aches.
This fine songwriting, combined with sharp performances and exquisite studio craft, make "Straight Up" one of the
cornerstones of power-pop, a record that proved that it was possible to make classic guitar-pop after its golden era had passed.
The Record and Cover (in shrinkwrap with title sticker) are in great (Very Good++ to Mint-) condition......$50.00

badfinger ass lp

Badfinger / Ass
Apple Records SW-3411 (1973)(US) This is an original Record. Badfinger produced the sessions for this release themselves, abandoning
lush production for a live, hard-rocking sound. Apple wasn't keen on the record, insisting that it be remixed, then, once it was remixed,
refusing to release it, so the band jumped ship to Warner Bros. in the fall of 1973. Just after Badfinger released their debut single
for the WB label and were prepping a new album, Apple sprung Ass on the world. As it happened, it would be the last record Apple would
release, so it was barely given any support by the label and thus made little impression on the sales charts.
The Record and Cover are in great (Very Good++ to Mint-) condition...$30.00

Badfinger / Badfinger
Warner Brothers Records BS-2762 (1974)(US) This is an original Record. In many ways, Badfinger is a continuation of Straight Up
(an unabashed, concise pop album) but there's one important difference: Todd Rundgren was a taskmaster on Straight Up. He may not have
jelled with the band, but he brought out their best. Chris Thomas didn't work the same way, although he's equally skilled in the studio,
and he made a state-of-the-art pop record. On the whole, Badfinger is a strong record. The Record and Cover are in great (Very Good++)
condition. The Cover has a Promotional cut on top right corner...$20.00

badfinger Wish You Were Here lp
Badfinger / Wish You Were Here
Warner Brothers Records BS-2827 (1974)(US) This is a Record. Wish You Were Here is a glistening, powerful rock record that stays true to
power pop while sounding as contemporary as any mainstream rock band of the mid-'70s. It was the kind of record that could have been a hit,
but due to a series of legal and managerial entanglements, it was pulled from stores before it had a chance to find its audience.
Despite its relative obscurity, most die-hard Badfinger fans maintain that the group shines brilliantly on Wish You Were Here and they're
right. It's easily the most cohesive album the group ever recorded and results in a classy, catchy pop record, possibly the best Badfinger
ever released. The Record is in nice (Very Good++) condition. The Cover shows some wear but has no split seams...$15.00

Badfinger / Airwaves (Promo)
Elektra Records 6E-175 (1979)(US) Promotional issue Record containing (9) tracks.
The Record (with White Promo label) is in nice (Very Good++) condition.
The Cover (with Promotional sticker on top left corner) shows some wear but has no split seams...$20.00

Badfinger / Airwaves
Elektra Records 6E-175 (1979)(US) Using the magic of overdubbing and a complement of star studio musicians, Tom Evans and Joey Molland
take a respectable shot at recreating the three-part harmonies and pop sheen of the early-'70s Badfinger. This album actually did a little
better commercially than the group's two Warner Bros. albums of 1974. The Record is in great (Very Good++) condition.
The Cover (with Promotional hole in bottom right corner) shows some wear but has no split seams...$15.00

live Badfinger release, 1990's "Day After Day: Live" features a previously unreleased concert recording of Badfinger at the peak of their
career, captured live in 1974 at the Cleveland Agora. The brand new Record and Gatefold Cover are in excellent (Mint) condition...$40.00
