Peter Tosh / Legalize It
Columbia Records PC-34253 (1976)(US) Original issue Record. After years of being overshadowed by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh
left The Wailers to pursue a solo career in 1976. "Legalize It" is a bold statement that Tosh had arrived and was a creative
force in his own right. It cemented his position as a giant in reggae, and the album is one of the best albums of the genre.
The Record and Cover (with shrinkwrap and title stickers) are in excellent (Very Good++ to Mint-) condition...$12.00
Peter Tosh / Equal Rights (Import)
Virgin Records V-2081 (1977)(UK) Import issue Record. "Equal Rights" was to be the album that propelled Peter Tosh to the top
of the reggae world — the rival to onetime fellow Wailer Bob Marley. It remains among the handful of best, and most influential,
reggae albums ever recorded. The Record and Cover are in great (Very Good+ to Very Good++) condition...$15.00
Peter Tosh / Bush Doctor (Import)
Rolling Stone Records CUN-39103 (1978)(UK) Import issue Record. As the debut album on the Rolling Stone label in 1978, "Bush Doctor"
benefited immensely from the involvement of Jagger and Richards, as well as the publicity inherent in the high-profile nature of the
release. It included the cover of the Temptations' "(You Gotta Walk) Don't Look Back" single featuring a duet with Mick Jagger.
The Record and Cover are in great (Very Good++) condition...$15.00
Peter Tosh / Don't Look Back (12")(Import)
Rolling Stone Records K052Z-61657 (1978)(US) Promotional issue Record. This 12" single is for the cover of
the Temptations' "(You Gotta Walk) Don't Look Back" single featuring a duet with Mick Jagger (b/w "Soon Come").
The Record and Cover are in nice (Very Good+ to Very Good++) condition...$10.00
Peter Tosh / Mystic Man (Promo)
Rolling Stone Records COC-39111 (1979)(US) Promotional issue Record. Having flirted with commercial acceptance on "Bush Doctor",
Peter Tosh (the former Wailers guitarist) reasserted his cranky contrarian militancy on this album.
The Record and Cover (with promo stamp) are in great (Very Good++) condition...$10.00
Peter Tosh / Wanted Dread & Alive
EMI America/Rolling Stone Records SO-17055 (1981)(US) Standard issue Record. Peter Tosh's final album for the Glimmer Twins' imprint label
found him continuing to relish his image of urban bandit, as the Wild West-style wanted-poster graphics aptly illustrate on the cover.
The Record and Cover are in fairly nice (Very Good+) condition...$5.00
Peter Tosh / Mama Africa (Promo)(Sealed)
EMI America Records SO-17095 (1983)(US) Sealed Promotional issue Record. Peter Tosh's most accessible album, "Mama Africa" would
also be his best seller outside Jamaica, the only one of his albums to break into the U.K. Top 50 and even push into the bottom reaches of
the U.S. chart. Toning down the rhetoric, Tosh concentrated on the music, self-producing an album that sounds fantastic from start
to finish. The brand new Record and Cover (with title stickers and promo stamp) are in excellent (Mint to Mint-) condition...$25.00
