Sting / The Dream of the Blue Turtles (Sealed) (Sold Out)
A&M Records SP-3750 (1985)(US) Original issue Record on U.S. vinyl. Sting recorded his solo debut album at Eddy Grant's studio. He picked
up the guitar and used Wynton Marsalis' band for his new combo — thereby creating The Dream of the Blue Turtles.
The Record and Cover are in excellent (Mint/Mint-) condition (promotional cut in bottom left edge)...$15.00 (SOLD 06/08)
Sting / We'll Be Together (EP)(Sealed)
A&M Records SP-12251 (1987)(US) Original issue 12" Record EP. This track was the only up-tempo track on Sting's second solo effort.
The cheerfully stiff white-funk "We'll Be Together" was added at the insistence of the label because they believed there wasn't a cut
on the record that could be pulled as a single, one that would break down the doors to mainstream radio. And they were right.
The Record (with five tracks) and Cover are in excellent (Mint) condition...$10.00
Sting / ...Nada Como El Sol (EP)
A&M Records SP-3295 (1988)(US) Original issue Record EP on U.S. vinyl. This album consists of five songs from Nothing Like the Sun
re-recorded in Spanish and Portugese. This was a well-done project — the translations are good and Sting manages the Spanish and Portugese
pronunciations well. The Record and Cover are in great (Very Good++ to Mint-) condition...$10.00
Sting / The Soul Cages (Sold Out)
A&M Records SP-6405 (1991)(US) Original issue Record on U.S. vinyl. On The Soul Cages, Sting used the same basic band as
Nothing Like the Sun. The album has the same supple, luxurious tone, stretching out leisurely over nine tracks, almost all
of them layered mid-tempo tunes. The Record and Cover are in excellent (Mint-) condition...$15.00 (SOLD 11/10)
Sting / Ten Summoner's Tales (Import) (Sold Out)
A&M Records 540 075 (1993)(German) Import issue Record on high quality vinyl. As an album, Ten Summoner's Tales
is more consistently satisfying than anything else in Sting's catalog. He created his first unapologetically pop album since
the Police with this release. The title is a rather awkward pun on his given last name (George Summoner being his name).
The Record and Cover are in excellent (unplayed/Mint) condition...$50.00 (SOLD 03/09)
