The Monkees / The Monkees (Sold Out)
Colgems Records COM-101 (1966)(US) Rare original issue Mono Record. The Monkees self-titled first album was a huge success,
following on the number one single "Last Train to Clarksville." The album spent 78 weeks on the Billboard chart including an
astounding 13 weeks at number one. The first Michael Nesmith song to grace a Monkees record, "Papa Gene's Blues" is a striking
example of his compositional charm and wit, even at this early stage (Rick Nelson's lead guitarist, the great James Burton,
plays a scorching solo on this Nelson-esque song). The Record and Cover (in shrinkwrap) are in
great (Very Good++) condition (with track incorrectly listed as "Papa Jean's Blues")...$30.00 (SOLD 07/11)

The Monkees / More of The Monkees (Sold Out)
Colgems Records COS-102 (1966)(US) Original issue Record on U.S. vinyl. The Monkees second album "More of the Monkees" lived up to its
title. It was more successful commercially, spending an amazing 70 weeks on the Billboard charts and ultimately becoming the 12th biggest
selling album of all time. The Record and Cover are in great (Very Good+) condition...$10.00 (SOLD 02/15)

The Monkees More of The Monkees lp

The Monkees / Headquarters (Sealed) (Sold Out)
Colgems Records COM-103 (1966)(US) Sealed Original issue Mono Record. The pre-fab four decided to take control of their recording destiny,
so with a little muscle, music supervisor Don Kirschner was out and the band hit the studio by themselves. "Headquarters" doesn't show
the band to be musical geniuses, but it did prove they were legitimate musicians with enough brains, heart, and soul as anyone else claiming
to be a real band in 1967. "Headquarters" doesn't contain any of the group's biggest hits, but it does have some of their best songs.
The Record and Cover are in excellent (Mint to Mint-) condition (photo of album producers without band)...$50.00 (SOLD 07/11)

The Monkees / Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones, Ltd.
Colgems Records COS-104 (1967)(US) Original issue Stereo Record. "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones, Ltd." contains three of
The Monkees finest songs ("Words," "Pleasant Valley Sunday," and the song that "invented" country-rock for better or for worse,
"What Am I Doing Hangin' 'Round?") which means that not only is it one of the Monkees' best albums, it is one of 1967's best.
The Record and Cover are in great (Very Good+ to Very Good++) condition...$15.00

The Monkees Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones, Ltd. lp

The Monkees Instant Replay Mike Nesmith Micky Dolenz Davy Jones lp
The Monkees / Instant Replay (Sold Out)
Colgems Records COS-113 (1969)(US) Rare Original issue Record. By 1969's "Instant Replay", it was coming to a close for the band
and Peter Tork had already left the fold. The songs were disjointed solo vehicles for the remaining three, which afforded far too much
rope for sentimental Davy Jones ballads, although Mike Nesmith salvages the day once again with tasty country inflections on the wistful
"Don't Wait for Me" and "While I Cry." The Record and Cover are in fairly nice (Very Good+) condition ...$15.00 (SOLD 07/11)

The Monkees / Greatest Hits (Sold Out)
Colgems Records COS-115 (1969)(US) Original issue Stereo Record. The first of many "Greatest Hits" packages to come (features [14]
classics). The Record and Cover (in shrinkwrap with original price tag) are in excellent (Mint-) condition...$40.00 (SOLD 07/11)

The Monkees Changes Micky Dolenz Davy Jones lp
The Monkees / Changes (Sold Out)
Colgems Records COS-119 (1970)(US) Rare Original issue Record. For most intents and purposes, the Monkees had broken up before the
recording of "Changes", their final record. Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith had left the band, leaving only Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones
which makes this the weakest record the Monkees released.
The Record and Cover are in fairly nice (Very Good+ to Very Good++) condition ...$40.00 (SOLD 07/11)

The Monkees / Barrel Full of Monkees (Sold Out)
Colgems Records SCOS-1001 (1971)(US) Rare Original issue Double Record. The Monkees second greatest hits album in as many years.
This hard to find album contains [20] of The Monkees greatest hits (13 of 14 tracks from "Greatest Hits" plus 7 other gems).
